BOCA RATON, Fla.— Nutritional Products International (NPI), a company that specializes in helping nutritional and personal care products developers market and distribute their products on an international scale, announced it has joined the European Specialist Sports Nutrition Alliance (ESSNA).
ESSNA is an organization that cooperates with various European agencies, governments, trade entities, consumer organizations and the media to promote reputable sports nutrition brands, provide regulatory advice and ensure an appropriate and balanced regulatory framework for nutritional products throughout Europe. The new partnership with NPI poses a number of benefits for the company’s clients that seek to market their products in Europe.
“We are excited to announce that Nutritional Products International has joined ESSNA,” said Mitch Gould, CEO of NPI. “This organization is outstanding at representing the interests of sports nutrition companies all over the European Union, from big international brands to smaller, more focused specialist companies. It is an association that is widely respected and has tremendous influence in issues affecting our clients. This is a tremendous opportunity for our organization to continue providing our clients with the best possible service all over the world.”
Founded in 2003, ESSNA was created to provide a forum for discussion and a means of action for companies in the specialist sports nutrition sphere. It works closely alongside government and trade commission officials, as well as sporting organizations and various businesses, to accomplish this.
This partnership is especially important in the wake of the EU’s June 2016 decision that there was no longer a need for specific regulation of sports nutrition products, and that such products would instead be covered under General Foods Law regulations.
Partnership with ESSNA will help NPI and its clients to continue to adjust to these changes. “We work with many companies based in Europe, as well as others that wish to market their products there, that will greatly benefit from our association with ESSNA,” said Scott Gould, NPI’s Vice President of Business Development. “We look forward to many years of membership with ESSNA and to helping our clients find better results in Europe.”
